To further recognize Industry's investment in training, the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council has launched a new provincial recognition program - Putting People First!  To qualify for this award, individual departments must have 80% of their team Nationally Certified in 1 of 27 occupations.  Recipients of the provincial award are recognized at the Council's annual Recognition of Excellence dinner hosted each May.
